Whether or not you believe Christmas has lost all meaning beyond capitalism and consumerism, you have to admit the holiday season is one of excessive waste. From the abundance of food and gifts to decorations, this season has a huge impact on our planet. Now I may be a cynic, but that doesn't mean I … Continue reading gifting
I love a good theme. As a kid, my birthday parties always had a theme with outfits, decorations, and even napkins to match. One time I had a 60's themed party where all my friends wore poodle skirts and we danced around to the plethora of "Greatest Hits of the 60s" CDs we had. My sister … Continue reading nineties
Although I love all things sartorial, it's been a while since I bought any new (to me) clothes. I've written before about the impact the fashion industry has on our planet and society, but even with more ethical and sustainable choices, I still think the best solution is to consume less. Today, I’m super excited to share with you the first installment of a new feature – Tomorrow Living’s Ethical Fashion Profiles! I want to showcase some of my favourite…

When I first found this sweater/cardigan/blanket with arms, I couldn't figure it out. It was held up by trouser hangers and had no discernable place to put your head. It took me a couple tries, but I figured it out eventually. This being a time of reflection, the whole experience seemed a metaphor for the … Continue reading practice makes perfect
