nineties

I love a good theme. As a kid, my birthday parties always had a theme with outfits, decorations, and even napkins to match. One time I had a 60's themed party where all my friends wore poodle skirts and we danced around to the plethora of "Greatest Hits of the 60s" CDs we had. My sister … Continue reading nineties

dressy dress

Although I love all things sartorial, it's been a while since I bought any new (to me) clothes. I've written before about the impact the fashion industry has on our planet and society, but even with more ethical and sustainable choices, I still think the best solution is to consume less. That being said, there … Continue reading dressy dress

#haulternative

I'm pretty good at procrastinating. It's one of the reasons I haven't written many themed posts. Reading about Christmas in February just doesn't make sense. But I've never really minded because I haven't cared enough. I haven't lost sleep that I missed the time window for posting about New Year's Eve or Valentine's Day Arizona Statehood Day outfits. … Continue reading #haulternative

girls night out

If you told me even a few years ago that I would rock a pleather skater skirt, crop top, and snake skin boots in 2016 I would probably tell you to get your Tardis checked because you weren't from the future but an alternate universe. Well here we are and these pictures were taken in this … Continue reading girls night out

I doubt that this will be the last lull in posting I have this year, but if everything goes swimmingly then I should be fully graduated and available to blog regularly again sometime in mid July. Till then, I hope you’ll stick with with me through my sporadic posting schedule!

Today, I’m super excited to share with you the first installment of a new feature – Tomorrow Living’s Ethical Fashion Profiles! I want to showcase some of my favourite…

practice makes perfect

When I first found this sweater/cardigan/blanket with arms, I couldn't figure it out. It was held up by trouser hangers and had no discernable place to put your head. It took me a couple tries, but I figured it out eventually. This being a time of reflection, the whole experience seemed a metaphor for the … Continue reading practice makes perfect

the first date

Like many other seemingly bored and lonely twenty-somethings wandering the internets, I tried my hand at online dating this year. I have chatted with and met a plethora of different guys which resulted in a myriad of first dates. This was quite the learning curve because I had only ever been on two first dates before, … Continue reading the first date
